Westgate Branson Lakes Resort

"We very much enjoyed our stay at the resort. The staff was great, the rooms were nice and well equipped, and the view was stunning. The resort is located a little bit out of town, but that allows for an escape from the tourist chaos that is the main strip of Branson. The only negative that I have to offer is that the rooms are not very soundproof. We didn't expect them to be, and the noise we heard didn't at all bother us. However, the older guest in the unit below us complained twice about our toddler walking too loud during daytime hours. We did what we could to be accommodating, and by the time we left our toddler was very good at the "tip-toe game". Our toddler just slipping off the bed would create a small thud, though, so we just did our best to be out and about during his waking hours."

"We book this hotel because we thought we can relax here. But sadly No! The bed is very uncomfortable that our sleep in those 4 nights were on and off. We can hear every noises above us and next to us. The insulation is very poor. I accidentally pulled the bed side table and oh boy! It’s looks like never been clean for a while.! Our experienced here made us not to come back here again"

"Loved our view and our two bedroom apartment was nice. It could have used a little updating, but still wonderful. There was construction going on almost the entire time. It was pretty loud for about two hours every morning, but we were able to enjoy our week there regardless. The staff was amazing and so helpful especially KB. I would love to go back sometime."

"Couldn't be more happy with our stay. The staff was very accommodating and prompted with requests. The gym, although a little small had everything needed to get in a good workout. The pools and hot tub were kept very clean and well stocked with towels. It was nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit, and they supplied one load of soap. The bathroom was very spacious and it was nice to have dual sinks that were well lit. The shower was also big and new. The view of Table Rock Lake was so peaceful, especially at sunset and the location is close to everything that you would want to do, but far enough away that you are out of the crowded area of Main Street, Branson."

"So I will start with the positives first: It is a beautiful gated property. Quiet and well kept for the most part. The check in process was easy. The rooms were spacious, beautiful and clean. I appreciate the screened in balconies. Great for families with boats and it is also pet friendly. Cons: Because of the secluded nature of the property, there needs to be a greater investment in the amenities such as the indoor and outdoor pools which were on the smaller side and average at best. There should be an on-site restaurant that is available for breakfast and a quick snack. For the television, apps such as Netflix and YouTube should be available which is a bonus but essential for parents. Last but not least, I understand the rooms were recently renovated but there is no sound proofing at all. You can hear your neighbors conversation clearly, every single word while they are speaking at normal volume. Ask for a room on the higher floors for an unobstructed view."
