My pup had TPLO surgery 3+ years ago and recently developed a limp in the same leg. After spending a fortune on different vet opinions, I decided to try swimming for some hydrotherapy/muscle strengthening. As a dog trainer myself, I was so incredibly impressed by the women who run Splash Dog. I noticed my dog began to get overwhelmed, but I didn't need to say a thing, as they were very aware and maintained a safe environment. They gave adequate breaks for my pup to catch her breath, but also provided enough of a challenge to get her to learn. There is also a surplus of motivational toys that are used to encourage your pup. Overall, I would happily drive the 2+ hours round trip for future sessions.
