Texas Hill Country Reservations - All Wimberley Lodging 14500 Ranch Road 12, Wimberley, TX 78676

"BELLA NOTTE PROPERTY - We stayed at this property mid May 2023. On first appearances the place is beautiful. Not the case. The dust on the ceiling fans was 1/2 inch thick as it was through the house. Ants crawling up the bathroom wall above the sink. The shower looked as if it had not had a good scrubbing in months. A dirty sock was behind the table next to the bed. The coffee cups had coffee rings in them. There is NO dishwasher, all dishes had to be washed by hand so it makes one wonder how clean any of the dishes and silverware actually was. We washed everything before using it. We did not get into the hot tub or pool. The hot tub was dirty and we didn't trust the pool to be any cleaner than the hot tub and who knew what kind of chemicals were used in the pool, if any. The bed sheets did appear to have been recently changed. Not sure about the bath towels. All in all it was a huge disappointment. We will not stay at this property again and probably not at Texas Hill Country Reservations either as it took several emails and phone calls to get the check in info."

"IF YOU HAVE SMALL CHILDREN OR ELDERLY IN YOUR GROUP - Please consider using another reservation company! They don’t offer ANY protection for the renter by allowing the property owners to post their own information and pictures. This creates a place for misleading information. Wasted $900 on a sub par property called “A Country Place - the Chicken Coop”. This property never mentioned or pictured stairs to the only bedroom and bathroom - which isn’t fair to those who have disabilities. The owner’s reasoning for no refund was bc of the one picture of the house showing the only the front of the house. Many German style cabins have a large attic that most of the time is NOT a second story. The term “two story property” was never in the description. The pictured stairs we included below can’t possibly be up to code."

"We rented the Mystic Hills Garden Suite for our first family vacation in over a year and were very disappointed. We rented the entire building, there were two sides, and communicated via email regularly on the number of people, when we would arrive, etc. as we were coming for a wedding. After numerous calls and messages that were never returned prior to checking in, we sent an email to confirm the number of guests. Upon arrival, the keys were not where we were told, there were no linens for my son and his partner, who ended up sleeping on a fold out sofa with no sheets or blankets because no one responded to our texts, calls or emails. We received bed linens on the second day of our stay with no credit to our bill for not having proper accommodations. Very disappointed in the service and lack of responsiveness to our inquiries. They are great at taking your reservation and payment but not in returning calls, even when you are staying in one of their rentals. Would not recommend them."

"This review is for the Bird Song Cabins- Little Bird Cabin. We love the set up and decor was nice. The patio was cute and the hot tub was a nice touch. The owner even brought us a replacement grill. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because the cabin was not clean, there was stuff all over the floor where your feet felt dirty after walking around, there was a dust/hair ball in the bed, there were bugs in the glasses, the patio had installation laying around as well as a bunch of screws. This place pet friendly but not pet safe, as there is access to under the house. Needs work and attention to detail desperately."

"The cabin and property was great. The only complaints we have are nothing major. There were several silverfish in the drawers in the kitchen. May need to spray for bugs. The lack of towels which we planned for. I guess our biggest complaint is the description of the cabin is a little bit of false advertising. You have your private pool and hot tub, but less than 50 yds away is another cabin with their hot tub just on the otherside of a tree line. You and they can hear everything said. Other than that the cabin, the space was great. Again nothing to make you not like the place, but just things not expected. Would recommend for couples wanting to get away and relax. Loved the town and all it had to offer."
