"Almost every single time I visit this location; 90% of their poor betta fish have swim bladder, fin rot, or parasites. I took in the betta pictured below from this store. He was floating on his side and had severe swim bladder disease. The second picture is him now, a week later. He is able to swim, he is finally eating, and exploring his hospital bowl. Unfortunately he seems to have a permanent curvature in his spine. All he needed was clean, warm, water. I am 99% sure this could have been prevented if it wasn’t for the horrifyingly poor care the store provided. The cups that these fish are kept in are FILTHY. Additionally, these are tropical fish, their water temp should be in the upper 70’s. A cup sitting in room temp water is not enough. How can you expect future pet owners to provide these animals with the appropriate care if this is the example you are giving? This is animal abuse. Please do better."
