"My son has shown a significant improvement in self confidence and discipline after starting little ninjas. The program is impressive in that it is purposeful and high yield everyday. The instructors always have something different planned everyday so the kids are never bored. Master Roger and Instructor Michelle (owners) are always there, even instructing little ninjas. Which is important to me. I enrolled my son so he would build self confidence but truly, he has gained so much more. Yes they teach these martial arts skills but they also put just as much focus on life skills and how to be a better person."

"(Edited) Chang’s Taekwondo is the most important place in the world to me. It is my home away from home, and Master Roger is my spiritual guide. I started attending Chang’s in 2017, when my daughter started as a white belt. She was 7 at the time. I saw what Chang’s did for Eva in terms of her self-esteem, discipline, attitude and honor. For Chang’s teaches more than physical fitness - I’d say that 75% of what we focus on is physical fitness, but 25% is mental and spiritual growth. I told Master Roger then that my intention was to become a white belt. We both knew that was unlikely, as at the time, I weighed over 300 pounds. Fast forward three years - to COVID. I had lost 80 pounds, and Master Roger started offering classes in people’s backyards - and family members could attend for free. In May, 2020, i became a white belt. I couldn’t do one sit-up or one push-up. I couldn’t string 3 jumps together with the jump rope. But I was open to learning, and I tried my hardest, every day. And I grew. Eva eventually stopped going to taekwondo, but I’ve taken over where she left off. Today, three years later, I’ve lost an additional 70 pounds, and I’m a candidate blue belt. I’m starting to train for my certified first degree black belt. I’ve learned discipline, self-respect, gratitude, self-esteem, and honor. I’m stronger than I’ve ever been - and I’ve found my family, and my home. I am 54 years old, and my classmates (and teachers, sometimes!) are often 40 years younger than me. But even at this age, I'm proud to be learning that I can be strong, powerful, gracious, kind, grateful, positive, and that I can do anything I want to do. I cannot recommend Chang's highly enough."
