Children's Land Learning Center at Glenview on Milwaukee

"They blocked me on Facebook so I will leave a review here. The lady I spoke to was very rude and snippy and not helpful at all! They also for some reason do not allow for autistic children’s therapist to come to do their therapy (literally only takes 30-45 min) and they have extra classrooms that weren’t being used so my biggest concern is (my sons therapist said this as well) what is going on that you don’t want therapists to see? I know they are mandated reporters so I feel that they have something going on they don’t want other people knowing about!!! Because there is no other reason. You absolutely cannot say you care about these children if you will not allow them to get vital care that they need! Will NEVER consider this place ever!!!!"

"To start off I am a crazy mom and I go above and beyond for my boys to be OK. I have two boys 3/4 that are both in rolled in the school, and I couldn’t be happier! I moved them from a different daycare to this daycare last year because the prior daycare was a joke and comparing the two is like day and night. This place is not only amazing because it’s clean and they have really Good food but also the teachers are so involved with the kids and so friendly. They basically became part of my family. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone if you care for your kid to be taken care of."

"I decided to enroll my twins at this day care just because it was small , clean and had good ratings . However , we only lasted there for one month before we decided to change their school. This place just looks and sounds like a DAYCaRe ! Nanny type of place . The teacher in 2 year old program had no tolerance and had some aggressive behaviors and movement towards some of the kids . Personally. nothing was done to my kids ( I didn’t see it ) but I did observe their classroom for good one week from the monitor room and what I saw was unacceptable. When I brought this matter to the admin she sounded as if this type of behavior was normal . Their approach is more European style and I didn’t appreciate it . No potty training was done despite what we were told . Nothing was reported on the “ bright wheels “ app . Only photos were uploaded . When asked why potty training wasn’t happening and that why nothing was reported on the app , the response was “ we are too busy , we have too many kids “. My kids learned a bit but I didn’t see kids making a mess or do sensory ! Food : repetitive . My kids were always hungry after school . We are now part of kiddie academy. The school has a curriculum and is on top of academic achievement and development! All the activities , shows and materials are included in the tuition. We pay way more but I believe my kids are more engaged and are happy to learn !. Everything is reported on the app so we know when they are , how much and what they are. When they slept , when they potty trained and etc. school feels like a real school . We are in much better shape and place ."

"My daughter has been going here since she was 16 months old ! It's my first experience with daycare and I love this place. The people are amazing, they give my daughter the sense of security and attention which brings great joy to me as a first time mother. Every time we come in, we are greeted by the director or teachers with a smile on their faces. You can always tell if your child is happy, by seeing them run to their teachers or the directors once they step into the doors with open arms and a smile on their face. That says a lot to me, because it lets me know they are doing a great job in caring for her."
