"I highly recommend Bushido Kyokai!! I started here about 8 months ago as a way to do an activity together with my 2 daughters (12 and 9 years old). I thought it would be challenging to practice martial arts in classes in a space where the whole family is together but it actually has been an amazing experience. At the same time fun, fulfilling and instructive. The Sensei is really good with the kids, striking a very good balance in between being restrict and playful. He is also frequently looking to promote fun events where the kids can learn more about Japanese culture, play and make friends. "Bushido association invited us for a self defense class with the town queens of lake county. At first we were intimidated but quickly learned respect and appreciation through our class. This class was perfect for our girls of all ages, we had fun and learned useful skills.
