And, he earned a spot on the USA Muay Thai team and fought in the Youth World Championships. My daughter and I started working out at the gym a few months ago. "I started going to Prime in 2018 for Muay Thai (old lisle location) and now in 2022 for BJJ. I only have positive things to say about this family run gym. Coach Sonny is an amazing coach and it shows in the gym. All the fighters here are so talented and they all start without any prior experience. The training here is tough and the atmosphere here fosters growth and learning. Everything you do here has a purpose. Coach Rocky here is also a great BJJ teacher. Everything I've learned here through technique/drilling especially when it comes to guard passing works well for me in competition. I haven't been to another gym here yet that places this much emphasis in chaining guard passing moves together so effectively. Not every class will have lengthy sparring. It is usually very fundamentals and positional sparring focused which is what I like. You end up leaving the gym ready to train again the next day without feeling beat up. Overall, this is a 10/10 martial arts gym with caring instructors and kind teammates."
