Dollars & Sense Tax Matters

"Worst service ever. Can't get a call nor email returned. Been trying to get my 2021 tax return for months. Myself and wife have called and emailed over 27 times. No call back or email returned. Complete joke I promise. If I could give them a zero I would. They screwed me good. They had no problem cashing my check. Called the local Police Department and was told Tax service was being evicted."

"Last year my husband and I had a good experience with John so decided to use them again. John suggested we used the drop off service for taxes the next year. So that's what we decided to do this year, figured it was more convenient. Man was I wrong. I dropped off my paperwork beginning of February. I was told she'll get to my taxes in about a week. A week later I didn't hear anything from her so I called. I was told by the end of the week. Again I didn't hear anything back so I called again. I was told the same thing. This went on for a month. After the last call I decided I needed to bring my stuff elsewhere. I told her I'd be in to pick everything up, turns out this entire time she lost everything. She "looks" around the office for maybe 15 minutes before calling me back to ask for me to come help her look. Fine whatever I go up there and there's no one in the office. I ring the bell, nothing. After waiting for 30 or so minutes she tells me oh I'm with a client sorry. WHY HAVE ME DRIVE UP THERE IF YOU KNOW YOU ARE BUSY? Avoid this place. She is unorganized and lacks communication. She has yet to find my stuff. I'll probably never see it again. Take your stuff to TurboTax."

"Do not use this service. They don't return emails or phone calls. They had my documents since the end of January and never completed my forms. I reached out to them a couple of weeks prior to Tax day on their FB page. They told me to call them on a certain day and I did. I was told they would call me back the next day and I never received a call back. I had to run out and buy Turbo Tax to complete my taxes. I'm still dealing with an open issue from my 2020 Tax that John worked on the prior year. NEVER AGAIN! Take my advice people, don't use their services. Completely unprofessional."

"I am very disappointed. They have had my info since end of January. I was working nicely with John and even provided him some additional info needed to file with a different status. For the last 6 weeks I have had 2 conversations with them. Only one - with Holly - went well and I thought they would be done with them soon. That was 4 weeks ago. Now there is no answer when I call. There are no return phone calls after I have left 2 or 3 vice mails a week to contact me. If they had to 'suddenly close' as I heard through the grapevine, a courtesy call to the clients they were working on would have been appropriate. Lost time and effort. My one star goes to John who was very helpful until he 'left on emergency and we don't know when he will be back'. I hope he is doing well. And for Holly, who I felt really tried to make it right but hen also vanished."

"DO NOT GO THERE!! Misty and John processed my husbands taxes for 3 years. They told him he could claim certain deductions but last year we had the IRS come back and audit these deductions for the entire 3 years he used them. His friends (who had recommended them) had the IRS come after them as well. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!"
