"My wife and I were with these accountants for years when Mark was present Mark would meet with us and counsel us and guide us, now that Mark is gone I guess things have changed they do not work with smaller businesses and guiding or leading even if you pay them for their time they want minimum $200 a month all year every year and to start they want 50% upfront or they will not help you so don’t bother unless you’re willing to pay at least $200 a month because they will not help you"

"Went to try this company out from a referral sent to me and was told to ask for the owner Merki well much to my surprise the owner of all people had zero people skills and was extremely arrogant thinks he has the only tax advise in town. Very rude man saying it was his way or the highway, I got news for this guy it took me all of 10 minutes to find a much better CPA for less money and one who appreciates my business. I could tell from the moment I walked in and the rude receptionist who was short with me gets her trying from the rude owner. Folks there are way too many good tax advisors in town so do yourself a favor and spend a little time to research them by phone, Ask them questions on the phone and if they come off sounding arrogant like Merki then don’t waste your time because that’s a sign of how things will go from then on, nothing but trouble.Businesses just don’t understand these days that the public have way too many choices of where they can spend their money and business owners need to learn serious customer skills and training properly on understanding that the customer butters the owners bread.This arrogant Merki guy doesn’t get that so I hope others read this and he fails. Jerks like him don’t deserve to own their own business."

"I'm disappointed with the lack of professionalism that Merki and associates exhibited toward their customer. A student that I forwarded to this company, asked for a review of tax documents due to plausible error, was ignored for two months and can not get a call back. Granted it is tax season but ignoring the individual is unacceptable. I have experienced tax preparation error in the past and having paid for the service, I at least expect a company to investigate and return findings within reasonable time. Neither my family nor those that I forwarded to April will use this company again. NOTE, if you don't want to get screwed I would suggest seeking alternative CPAs."
