"I came to North Star Defense after relocating to the state of Illinois for my 16 hour conceal carry license. The course was informative and entertaining, they work great together and they are both very easy to learn from. They took a very serious topic and were able to work in real life stories, examples and humor to make sure you are fully prepared/comfortable walking out the door. While I initially thought Josh was just the eye candy he is very knowledgeable and fun to work with but Jenni is the brains behind the operation. I have taken this course in other states and this is by far the best course and will be recommending to my network!"

"I cannot say enough about how great it was to take the conceal and carry class at this facility. I went in knowing absolutely nothing about handguns, their ammunition, proper grip or the laws. They gave so much information during the 16 hours that I'm so glad I have the notes to review. This morning I'm talking with a friend and where they took their course it was basically from the book. Josh and Jenni went way above sharing their knowledge with the class. They were awesome instructors who answered your questions and were extremely patient! They kept the class moving along but did not rush if you didn't understand something. Highly recommend this class to anyone considering getting your conceal and carry. I'm sure the other classes they offer are just as well presented. I drove two hours for this class and would do it again in a heartbeat."

"Perfect class for Concealed Carry. Jen & Josh were excellent. I received very knowledgeable information, took a lot of notes, payed attention to every important aspect of the class, which is everything. I went in a bit nervous, ok, a lot nervous as I hadn't shot a gun in a while. Josh was very attentive and helped me to relax a bit during my range session. I did great, as well as purchased very nice useful accessories. I will be returning for more training to familiarize myself with my holster draw and take some regular womens courses.
