"Dr Collins was very patient and caring. I liked him alot and feel that I will get good care from him."
"I would like to highly recommend Dr Collins. He did “extensive” back surgery on me. He was skilled and caring. My life has changed because I can now do things that were causing me such pain. He listens and answers all my questions. Thanks Dr Collins!!"
"I was referred to this doctor because I had an MRI that revealed that i have multilevel degeneration of the lumbar spine. My appointment was a joke. When i arrived they had me do x-rays, then they took me in an office and had me put on some cloth shorts. After a while the doctor entered. The doctor was very nice but didn't come prepaired. He looked at my x-ray and showed me where my issue was, then he had me push and pull certain ways with my feet. Checked my femoral pulses through my socks, which is interesting because I have a hard time finding them on bare skin. He pushed in on my back a couple times and then said I don't need surgery. I was still sitting in the same chair, he never had me stand, he never checked range of motion. I never even got on the table during the exam. Then he clicked off of my x-ray and said "oh, you had an MRI" (that means he didn't even read the results). He pointed out the same place as he did on my x-ray and said see the narrowing and you have a bulge in the disc. He failed to point out the other two bulges, and the cyst that was present. The arthritis and the stenosis. He said since I don't have pain that goes down my leg, I don't need surgery. He never asked me about any of the other pain that I am having the lost amount of sleep I have because I hurt so bad. He did however say he was going to refer me for some pain management. Whatever that means. I don't feel he reviewed all of my information and I don't feel I had a very good exam, now I have to look into a second opinion. I can handle it if a doctor tell me I don't need surgery, but I want to feel confident that all of my record has been reviewed prior to making that determination."
"Dr. Collins and staff did a great job. Told me what to expect and what I needed to know. I feel great and my pain is gone, and able to walk again, with my new hip"
"Dr. Collins was very easy to talk with. He explained to me the results of the X-rays and MRI and told me about options. Great personality as well as a sense of humor. I was very at ease speaking with him."
