"I usually dont post a bad review unless I feel like I need to. It seems there are 59 5 star reviews for weight loss, but I went in for hormones. I was feeling desperate for help. The first visit to the Rockford, IL location, going in for consultation, I did feel rushed by Vanessa but went ahead and went with it even though I felt it was very expensive. I was given a saliva kit $375 and sent on my way. Second visit and I felt rushed again as the phone was ringing but went along with it anyways. The pellet therapy was $700 per pellet and I was sent home with three bottles of adrenal supplements that I never agreed to and was not told what they cost or how to take them, etc. I called back asking to be reimbursed for the supplements and I was told sure just bring them back, so I did..to be told by Vanessa they cannot take them back and reimburse me and I gave them back to them and im sure they will be resold again since they were never opened...so they will make twice the money on them. I called back to make a appt to get another pellet and to ask what the cost was and I was told $750 this time. I said no thank you. I cant believe how expensive this is and how dishonest the price quotes are and I never received any follow up calls from anyone. Dr. Thakkar did call me once through the entire treatment but no follow up after that. If you are looking to get pellet hormone therapy, please do youself a favor and go to Wellness Refinery in Roscoe and deal with Stacy. Her pellets are only $375 per pellet and she actually cares about you and blood tests are covered by insurance through her as well."
