"I was just calling in to check and see if a certain book was in stock and how much it would cost to rent it. Apparently I rang into the downstairs, which seemed to annoy the guy. I asked if the book was in stock and without checking he snapped back at me with yes. When I asked how much it was to rent he said he would have to call the upstairs and check. 23 minutes on hold and I haven't heard another word from him. Great customer service. Edit: Ended up staying on hold while I drove to school and rented the book. 41 minutes on hold. The same guy that put me on hold shifted from working downstairs to upstairs during that time, and still didn't feel the need to follow up."
