"Very very very slow!!! Not a professional environment"

"Their billing department does not return calls. I received a bill on 7/18/23 ( according to statement, it was generated on 7/8/23) with a due date on 7/31/23. Bill was paid IN PERSON on 7/30/23. I received a late notice dated 8/6/23 and received in mail on 8/15/23 with a nasty gram that charges would be added if not paid in 15 days. Give me a break!"

"I called Denman today because they have always supplied my mom's equipment in the past. they didn't this time. However, Susan was incredibly helpful when she didn't have to be! She gave me a quick rundown on the Medicare guidelines that really helped me understand how it all works. Thanks, Susan!"

"My blood pressure cup was sent in from the doctor and faxed over to denmans across the street, I went in an hour and a half later and they say they have no order for me so I go back to the doctor and get one on paper and I go back, I gave to a lady and I told her I live out of town and can do some shopping but then I have no where to go in town, she told me she pull it now and get it processed, well after shopping and sitting in their parking lot waiting for a call and I go back and it still hasn't been processed, so I told her I had to go home and told me she would get it ready and get in the out going mail. Well at 5:45 I called to see if it was mailed and it still has not be processed, now the next day they call and say it's ready for pickup and I ask why was not mailed yesterday and she said they had to run my insurance, now how can she get approved at 20 after 9 am and have it processed for pickup, now it won't get mailed until this evening so who knows when or if I'll get it. You would think that with everything going on in the world that they would be more concerned about doing their jobs and not standing around in office gossip, that's all I seen being done in there. If you have choose order on line you'll get it faster and won't be disrespected!!!!!!"

"I have had to deal with Denman twice now and they are truly terrible. The first time I went in to get an item that they did not have. I was told someone would call me back the next day. 4 days later I still had not gotten a call back even though I had left multiple messages. I eventually had to go get the item from Wal-Mart. The second time the sales associate helping me explained how my insurance paid for the item. She said I would be charged a co-pay 3 times and then my insurance paid the rest and the item was ours. This was in October. A month later I received a notice that I had a credit. The following month and the month after that I received no bill from them. Now, 5 months later I have started receiving bills again with no credit showing and for higher amounts than I was told it would be. I have tried to call and get it taken care of multiple times but each time I am transferred to accounting who did not call me back. When I finally received a call back, Kim in accounting was very unhelpful, condescending and got impatient when I had to ask about the abbreviations that she was using. Come to find out my insurance coverage was not what they had told me when I was in their office and they had been billing me for rental instead of purchase, which was not required at all by my insurance as they had told me. My deductible was met when we originally got the item but they waited until February to bill the item out in full, requiring me to pay them the full amount that would have been mostly covered by insurance. On top of all this if you comparison shop the item that you are getting, in both cases for me, the item is considerably cheaper elsewhere. Being the only medical supply place in town must have it's perks I guess. From now I on I will not be using Denman at all and would definitely advise people to avoid them or at least know your insurance coverage before you go in. Terrible experience from start to finish."
