"I was diagnosed with vocal cord strain in 2023. My ENT referred me to Susan Killmer who is a speech/language pathologist. She helped me recognize when I was using my vocal cords wrong, gave me the tools to improve the use of my vocal cords, which has corrected my overall breathing issues. I commend her on her knowledge, skill, and friendliness. I actually enjoyed going to therapy every week! Thanks for helping me Susan! It was a great experience."

"As a patient at the St. Charles, MO location of the SSM Health Day Institute I can say this is a top notch facility for rehabilitation. Every employee there, from the transportation van drivers to patient care specialists to the occupational therapists, physical therapists and speech therapists live by the motto printed on their tee shirts: “YOUR therapy OUR Passion”. Everyone is very friendly, professional and helpful. The facility has recently been expanded and updated too, making it more functional and comfortable. The facility is equipped with the latest high quality therapy equipment, and the therapists are well-trained, knowledgeable and compassionate. There are plenty of activities available in the “day room “ to personalize your rehabilitation , and to interact with other patients to share experiences, getting to know them on a personal level and play games."
