"I've read all these glowing reviews and hired Maloney Law for my apartment purchase transaction. I did not have a realtor - which was not a problem for the office at all, and my last real estate experience was from 20+ years ago. Everything was great. The ladies in the office were very responsive, Jerry was very knowledgeable and resourceful. Didn't have a chance to interact much with my lawyer though. Until I asked to confirm, in writing, how would property tax be assessed the next year. This is when all hell broke loose. I did receive an email from my attorney. In addition to just saying - nope, we cannot confirm this in writing, I got accused of 'My office has spent triple the time on your file answering every single question you have'. The email then proceeded to threaten to prevent Jerry from attending my closing (which was the next day btw) - unless. Unless I confirm how great Jerry's services were - which I never questioned in the first place. What a horrible experience - all paid for with my money. Giving 2 stars (not 1) since, to be fair, Jerry's and office services were really good."
