Mega Replay Peoria

"Two weeks ago, I purchased a Razer Blade 15 from the store for over $1,000. Additionally, I paid $150 for a 1-year warranty. In this short amount of time, the display completely died, and after exhaustive troubleshooting, I had to bring it in. They confirmed that it was defective and was only going to get in-store credit for a laptop that I bought 2 weeks ago. I said that I would instead just like a refund, like any other reputable business and regular return policy. They claimed that it would fulfill the $150 warranty and then I would only get a refund for the difference. In essence, I was penalized $150 because I was sold a broken product within 2 weeks. I understand that this is the store’s policy, but how is that even ethical from a business perspective? I was told by an employee, “anywhere else you go, you don’t get the cost back from the warranty.” Well of course you don’t, but you would if it was broken within 2 weeks because most businesses in 2024 have a standard return policy! Overall, I am so disappointed in my experiences at this store, and I will be filing a dispute with my credit card company to receive a refund for the difference. EDIT: I was contacted by the owner and was offered a refund for the difference, so I’m glad it was made right. However, the employee on the phone claimed that he wasn’t aware of the new policy, so there seems to be some disconnect there. Overall I would still be careful buying high dollar items from here."

"Great store! I head in here from time to time with my young kids to find or trade in used Mario games. Today they had exactly what we were looking for. It was a slow day owing to bad weather and I ended up striking up a conversation with two workers. MJ and Lyle were fantastic (thanks guys!). They helped me save some money through the rewards program, and I'll certainly return when we're ready for another game."

"Terrible store I recently bought a used PlayStation five from the store and was told that they did an annual cleaning on every use device that they purchase before they listed for sale again however, when I pulled the PlayStation out of the box, it was gross so I brought it back and asked for them to clean it again, however all they did was wipe the outside of it down and did not actually clean it so here are the pictures of what the inside of it look like after they told me they cleaned it. so I called to voice. My complaints in the service was honestly disappointing. They were very rude and lost their temper."
