Reviews of Real Estate Sales Academy
"I took the Pre License Real Estate course with Gus at the Garfield Ridge location and had a great experience. Gus is an amazing instructor. He is passionate, knowledgeable and makes sure to keep students engaged throughout the course. If you are searching for a location/instructor I HIGHLY recommend this one. I recently passed both portions of the exam and owe many thanks to this course. You will be guided through the material in the most efficient and effective way!"
"Not recommended. When I read reviews, I read the negative reviews, because we all know a lot of the 5 stars are concocted fluff (especially when you see a bunch in the same day or week). I wish I had read some before I wasted $500 on this class. More than half the class failed their in house final on the first try. That doesn't suggest quality instruction. I was a licensed realtor 15 years ago, had no problems with classes or the state exam, and worked as such for several years. Life happened and paths changed and I left that behind. I wanted to do real estate again. But instead I encountered this provincial backwater class, where the instructor (Cathy), seemed to have her own view on what needed to be taught (ask me about her "math" handouts). Where is this "Gus" and "Peggy" that so many reviewers praised? I was not given my test results to know where I had failed their test (they wouldn't even pick up the phone), it made me feel like they wanted people to fail in order to get them to take the class again and steal another $500. At least ten of the questions on the final were incomprehensible gibberish, like the author was drunk when they wrote it, missing the ends of sentences, and there were not a few gross spelling errors. This is a little league operation that exists to squeeze money out of you. Do yourself a favor and find a better company unless you are made of money and can just throw it out the window. Shop around. Find a good class."
"Gus passion, dedication and most positive influence truly were contagious. His willingness to go above and beyond while motivating, makes you believe you can accomplish anything you put your mind to. He created a welcoming learning environment that made learning interesting. His door was always open! No questions or concerns was trivial to him. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to be one of his students. I am currently a Real Estate Broker."
"I took the Real Estate Brokers course with Gus and it was fantastic. I took my state test and passed!!! He was very knowledgeable and always answered my questions. I would recommend him as an instructor 100%. You do have to invest your time and do your part. It is a fast paced and tough class. The only suggestion I have for the institution is to review some of the course materials. There were some errors that either Gus or classmates caught and he cleared up for us."
"Kathie was an amazing teacher. She made learning fun and easy to understand with the stories and examples she provided. Although, it was a tough class, she encouraged me to keep pushing through. She also suggested that I take the state board exam 5 days after the completion of class and I passed!. Her professionalism and kindness exceeded all 5 stars in my book!. Thanks for everything Kathie!. Jody Johnson"
