"Since sending in our bus application I've heard nothing. I've called Central School Bus multiple times asking for an update. I was told that they are still working on it. No one knew what was going on and no one could give me a concrete answer on anything. My son is supposed to start school next week and we still don't know if he will have transportation or not. Every time I call, it's the same story; we are working on it, but he is registered as a walker. Great. You want a six-year old to walk to school. Your employee, Regina, outright refused to give me her last name when I requested it. Seriously? Today, we received an email from Jim Koons, the Corporate Manager of Operational Excellence. His title couldn't be further from the truth, as there is nothing excellent about this company. Within a few days of school starting, Jim sent out the following email: "Central School Bus is processing all Pay-For-Ride applications as quickly as possible. There was an extremely high volume of requests this year, and as you know, Pay-For-Ride has always been offered on a space-available basis, and is provided through existing routes and existing stops only. As applications are processed notification of approval or denial will be communicated to you. While we are in the process of reviewing and attempting to accommodate all applications, please plan for the potential of receiving a denied application due to a lack of space on a route in your neighborhood. We urge you to have an alternate transportation plan for your student in the event your application is denied. Please know that should anything change with regard to Pay-For-Ride availability we will notify you promptly." This company is a joke. Yeah, uh, we're still working on it, um, maybe get some other transportation until we figure things out... k, thanks."
