"This star is only for the ignorant and pathetic “social worker” the one who said that SEHS was a very good school but... BUT what? a punk can change everything and take a whole family out of U-46? Or the administration who lies to the parents? It was obviously that she was not there to help, maybe she should investigate a little more about the disabilities some students live with before opening her big mouth, if she does not have idea about what SIJA is, she should had keep her mouth closed but obviously she was also following her big boss orders and she did not care about anything else but secure her job position just like everyone else at this district, I mean does she even know that social workers are supposed to help? But as a parent with a child with a disability I’ve learned to deal with insensitive, misinformed, judgmental folks with mouth wide open. And this star is also for Sheri Fato, she will come out with the thing that your child has a learning disability when the only ones who have a disability in the brain are all of them and will not give you or mail you a copy of the IEP meeting “she will forget“ you will have to remind her and if you ask for something in specific it just won’t be send to you. In fact District U-46 has a horrible IEP stay away from this district at all cost. They manipulate all the information and will falsified anything they can, just for the simple reason that for them is more important to protect their job position and business, their priorities is not your child. 02/16/18 Update: Dear Sheri Fato and to whoever gives you orders to do your “job”, how can you both explain that a girl with a “learning disability” can get EXCELLENT grades. My daughter has a physical disability NOT a mental disability. You all need help with the disability you all have in your hearts, maybe if the district RESPECTS the code of conduct policy, let officers to DO their job, and don’t let punks to go to laugh out loud on social media of how the administration and the “security” fail, you all might have no need to perform all this ridiculous and disgusting circus. Keep doing your “job” I guess that why you’re getting paid for!I’m so glad my kids are out of this district and hopefully forever."
"I am a 1980 Graduating Alumni-First graduating class... Hard to believe 36 Years have gone by. This school did prepare me for the world and gave me an edge when going to Marine Corps boot camp."
"This was my school in 2003 This is the best school that i ever been to. the teachers r great i just wish that i can go back to this school :)"
"I wish I could've gone to another school. Academically I did well. It was the people that made it a bad high school expierence for me. Never went to dances or events or bothered making much friends cause of the people there. Rude and bullies and careless people."
"They ruined my school! When I went to Streamwood, it wasn't the greatest high school in the world. It wasn't one of those Dead Poets Society kind of places, but it wasn't bad. I had some semblance of pride in my school. Now, I hear that it's totally gone down the tubes and of course had an all-out racial fight. It's just hard to imagine how this could have happened and it's embarrassing."
