"Chris is a fantastic guitar teacher who takes the time to get to know what your goals are and creates a plan to achieve them. He is focused on helping his students become better guitarists, while maintaining a stress-free approach to the learning process. I had studied on my own using pre-recorded online lessons through a couple different programs for a few months before deciding to seek out in-person lessons. My progress was slow while trying to learn through videos that offer no feedback. I spent some time learning riffs that I wasn’t really interested in because they were included in the lessons, which caused me to skip around to different tutorials a lot and I never really progressed much past the beginner basics. Recorded lessons through YouTube and similar platforms often felt like a slog, and I would frequently go several days without picking up my guitar. Since beginning lessons with Chris about six months ago, I feel myself gradually improving each week. He’s there to answer questions and offer guidance while making learning fun.
