"During COVID so far they have not been very helpful at all they had kids going 2 days a week for half a day and they expect everyone to do just as well as they would when they are going 5 full days a week it’s ridiculous!"

"We also attended a top elementary school in GA prior to moving to Marion. Our experience is far better at Marion than at our last school/district My daughter has been at Marion for 4 years now. So far, the teachers and administrators have treated her extremely well. We have loved Washington Elementary School."

"I don't feel that some of the schools take bullying seriously... They feel that punishing the victim & the bully alike is the solution to the problem. Also, while the elementary schools seem to participate in See You at the Pole, the Jr High seems to want to prevent students from participating. It was not mentioned at all. To the best of my knowledge, students in the Jr High werent given a choice or reminded about SYP. This is extremely disheartening & sad."

"I filed a complaint against Lisa Drury after she failed to list my daughter's excused absences as such and placed us in the truancy program. At the meeting, it was determined there was no reason for us to be there and there have yet to be any corrective measures taken. I have left messages concerning this matter and have yet to receive a return call or resolution."
