"Would not recommend boarding here anymore. Horses are not fed properly, pastures are overgrazed and muddied up, medical issues are blown off, and overall it is an unsafe environment for horses owned by anyone other than katelan herself. I boarded with katelan for a while and by the end of my time there, my horse was in a rough state from thrush and no offer to help me treat it even though i paid for full care board. I lived half an hour from the barn and struggled to be able to come out enough to treat his feet while he was still standing in gross stalls and muddy pastures. Please don't board here."
"DO NOT BOARD YOUR HORSES WITH KATELAN WEBB. While I did not personally have a horse under Katelans care, I was there often with friends who did board with her in the Marion location. She was a terrible barn manager, treated her staff and the horses in her care like they were disposable. Horses were starved, horses died in her care. If your horse was not worth enough to her, they were neglected. I personally helped my friends do all the work in the barn when Katelan fired all of her employees while there were 3 horses left. She didnt pay the waterbill so we had to figure out how to get water to 3 horses in the dead of winter. Then we had to figure it out again when pipes bursted. Katelan made no attempts to fix these problems herself, just passed it on to others. She starved the barn cats too, which is extremely disappointing as she is the admin at Union County Animal Control. So we provided care for the cats she abandoned there, as well. Katelan should not be trusted with anyones animals. Its a shame that so many have already been hurt by this poor excuse of a human."
"Please Do not board your horses here!!! These horses were boarded here for 5 months and were starved while in her care."
"I would NEVER recommend this place whatsoever. My horse broke her leg while in her care. She had a 10k insurance policy for all the horses and refused to claim it. All I got was an I’m soo sorry apology. No offer to help me find another horse or offer a refund on board nothing… There have been multiple horses staved at this location as well. The owner makes sure to put on a great first impression and then eventually stabs everyone in the back."
"When she owned the Marion barn, she fired all her employees with FOUR horses still in the barn, with no one to care for them. I went in and cared for them every day even though I was paying for full care board. I was not getting it. She also told me that my mare (that I had purchased from a friend who also boarded there) was only producing milk due to her getting into milkweed. Milkweed is lethal to horses in very small doses (less than a pound generally). The only place this horse had been was in HER pastures. Now there are also photos AT HER BARN of horses that she has had in her care for months that are skin and bones. This is not someone I would trust with my horses."
