I was 24 when Pat was my therapist and she not only fell asleep on me but had the audacity to tell me to get an abortion!!! My son is now 14 and could not imagine my life without him but in a healthy way. I immediately stopped seeing Pat. She is very unprofessional."

"There is nothing therapeutic about time spent with Pat Lovelace. She is the most unprofessional “therapist” I have ever known. She is more like a Tupperware hostess with her scented candle in the office and spread of junk food on the table in her waiting room. Really? Junk food to stuff down the feelings of her clients and to trigger food addiction? Unbelievable! The first time I arrived, I was shocked by both and asked her to please not burn the candle. She quickly put it out, but because of the fragrance in the air already, I was adversely affected. Moreover, when I showed up for the second appointment, she was liberally doused in perfume, literally reeking. She aggressively told me that people like me don’t have genetic mutations that account for fragrance intolerance; it is hidden trauma in the past associated with fragrance. So outrageously disrespectful! She said she would continue to impose heavy doses of fragrance on me as a “therapy.” This on top of crassly and rudely interrupting nearly every sentence I uttered. She spoke more than me, and expressed a very high opinion of herself and her technique which dates back to the 70s. Also, she refused to accept my canceling and keeps charging my insurance company, forcing me to report her for fraud. AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS!"

"Patricia is very unprofessional and unethical. She is in this business just for the MONEY, she is so fake with ulterior motives....all she cares about is money. Horrible horrible experience. Can't believe that people like her do counseling and still practice. I have seen her notes from sessions... Can't believe what and how she writes....so UNPROFESSIONAL. Patrica has seen me and my ex a few times in 2013 for counseling. In 2017, 4 years later without seeing me Patricia wrote a letter directly to the judge that in her professional opinion I have borderline personality disorder not to mention she never tested me for this serious condition and also the judge did not request her opinion about me. Her motives are very suspicious. I will definitely have Illinois department of porofesional and financial regulations look into this. I know my ex very well he would pay her money to do something like this 1000% the motivate her."
