"Horrible service I do not recommend this place or UPS in general"
"Not really sure what’s going on with this company lately. Did the rules change? I’ve never needed to sign for any packages but now I have one that requires a signature. That’s not an issue in itself. The issue is, people work and the only notification we get is “out for delivery” which could mean any time from the time the drivers hit the road to the end of the day. I have a very small window of time in which I can be here to sign. They sent a notification to me yesterday, 8-22-23 stating they made an attempt but missed me. I was sitting on my front porch. I seen the driver walking to my side porch where all packages are to be left. I didn’t pay attention to him leavening. Once I got up to retrieve said packages, he left my girlfriends package but didn’t leave mine. So, I checked my delivery instructions once more and seen where it says “signature required” I never opted for this. My instructions on all packages is to leave packages at side door closest to the driveway. He didn’t even leave a tag with a possible return time. (Not sure if they do that, but they should) and trying to talk to an actual person is damn near impossible!! All I get is an automated instructional message which doesn’t help at all!! How am I supposed to know what time I need to be home? I really don’t want to drive to the facility out of my way on my way to work to retrieve my package. I’m not faulting the employees for this, I just think a better way to conduct business is sorely needed. If I’m in the wrong and there’s an easier way of doing this, please correct me. I know I can file a claim, but I shouldn’t have to. It should be as simple as, order product, pay for product, receive product, that’s it! If a signature is required then a time should be sent by way of text or email. I shouldn’t have to track a truck or package location. I don’t have that kind of time. My household’s work schedule is tight! Sorry, but as it stands I can’t give a good review. I’m not happy."
"Well I did have one problem but I hate to think about it. On my birthday 7-26 my daughter had a packaged delivered and it was supposed to have a signature and my daughter Rene'e had her phone number for them to call. But don't just leave in 100+ heat that day and it was just left and we were not in town. She drove fiercely to UPS Milan and my birthday was postponed and never will be celebrated because the driver didn't pay attention to the MEMO! This was a 1000$ item and anyway thanks for nothing and I hope no one else ever has to go through this. I also suffer from a condition of PTSD and it was important to be with her my only family left. Even the cat has died. In Galesburg Illinois and will never use UPS Again if possible. And I seen another review that you don't leave in the mailbox. Well you do in Milan Illinois."
"I have repeatedly asked for items to not be placed on my sidewalk, apparently the geo location will penalize employees who go too far to deliver a package. I have repeatedly spoken with the manager at this location and he assured me this would not happen again. I explained what was going on and the remedy. He needed to send in a support ticket to the geo location guys to fix my point of calculation so they could go further into my property to actually deliver my packages. The manager at this location was given three chances to fix this. Did not do so. Go to FedEx instead. Anyone who has managers who are either this incompetent or indifferent does not bode well for your precious packages. Go to FedEx or post office, anywhere but these Bajingos."
"Lousy service, lousy attitude, nothing like the company used to be. They deliver boxes broken, spilling out, or covered in whatever leaked on the boxes that smells like gas. Call for help, the woman answering the phone in Milan proceeds to list ways that I am wrong, that the driver doesn't have to stop and say why he is leaving this mess on my steps. And if you complain, they start leaving boxes braced against the front storm door, so I cannot get the door open and must walk around from the back to retrieve the box. Tiny 'country, small town' people working there that are very redneck rude and just a bunch of aggressive, mean people. Wish I could choose who delivers, when I make a purchase, it would never be the UPS of today."
