"I called today and spoke with a representative regarding a deposit made through their ATM which was a returned item. She advised me she would look into it and call me back today regardless of the outcome so to update me. I had not heard back from her at 4pm, so called again and it took me to her voicemail. Bank closed at 5pm and did not hear back from her at all even though she stated she would call me back today no matter what the outcome. Not very happy with lack of follow up but I would like to give this branch a chance to rectify this situation. Please explain to me why my check was not deposited, why there was no explanation as to why it wasn't deposited, why not even Customer Service can explain what happened and why did you not send my check back to me?"
"Many years ago, I opened my first bank account at this location, and then my wife and I moved to Virginia and recently bought a house here. Although we have loved all the online services US Bank provides, before we closed on our house we needed to wire the title company the closing costs and were panicking because we didn't have enough time (3 business days) to get certified checks mailed to us. The nearest physical location is a 10 hour drive away from us and we were panicking late on a Friday night thinking about the unplanned road trip we were probably going to have to do. Online customer service and our personal contacts weren't very helpful, but finally one service representative recommended we speak to a branch manager. We called this location and Denise the branch manager was incredibly helpful and let us know exactly how to go about this over the phone (which until now we didn't even know was an option!). We set up a call for Monday morning and everything went incredibly smoothly and the funds were transferred just in time for our closing date. HUGE THANK YOU! This saved us so much time and headache."
"The worst bank for small business - stay FAR AWAY if you are a business looking for a business bank. We easily opened a business checking online. Provided all the necessary Patriot Act ID. Funded the account with customer checks. Then BAM! Account frozen and locked out without warning. The 800 number had no idea why. The branch manager had no idea why but promised to fix it. We were told the checks had been returned. Really? Every check? Zero follow through days later from the branch manager who was like a deer in headlights. All the while holding our business funds for more than two weeks in limbo that greatly affected our cash flow and forced us to use personal funds to keep the business in business. Two weeks later we still don’t have access to our own money. We have confirmed from all customers that the funds have been withdrawn and cleared from their bank accounts. So US Bank has our own money but has effectively stolen it. If your business relies on cash flow and timely access to your own money, look for another business bank. US Bank is incompetent for business banking and in fact, dangerous and harmful to your business. Update; We are now three weeks later and the bank has STILL not returned our initial deposit of $6,000. So now banks STEAL customer deposits. We are having to spend money on our family attorney to step in to get our funds back. Useless, damaging bank for small business. Stay far away."
"Wife and I have accounts Got a call about all the services Said last time I was there would not let me in no appointment Guy told me won’t happen again Tried to sell me refinance I just did it 3 months ago New credit card 2 days later went to deposit check From gov Covid Door was locked No one came ? Wife and I signed Would not deposit or cash it I got anger yelled and left Tried to do on online account Says system down This place is God awful. Ps Fidelity had me scan check and deposit in 3 total minutes Clueless customer service"
"I would give this place zero stars if I could. Customer service is awful. My 82 year old mother is in a nursing home so I have power of attorney. Every time I try to take out money, they come up with some reason why the POA isn’t valid. One time they said it doesn’t apply to IRAs, then they said I had to go to the original location location-which doesn’t exist anymore. Now they’re telling me that the POA isn’t valid. Tell that to my lawyer! I’m going to a different branch."
