"This bank needs a new staff. Old people only working here. With old ideologies! We need new younger people to run this bank. All these elders working at this bank seem to be racist and very judgmental. How are they going to question me about wanting to deposit $4,000 to my own business account? It’s always an issues with these people at this damn location. So frustrated!"

"Wintrust is a terrible place to do banking. This branch specifically likes to farm out problems to the Libertyville branch. They also hold on to cash deposits when their ATM makes an error and make you wait to get your cash deposit applied to your account."

"I really like this Bank and all the people that work in it. They are very efficient and friendly. My biggest gripe is that at the drive-in window they don't make the far left window for business transactions. Somebody simply depositing a check should use any other lane. I typically have large Bank envelopes filled with deposits for my business. And I sit in line and wait for Joe average when there are other lanes open and available that I simply cannot use. This is an inconvenience to another wise great bank to do business with."

"Harris bank stopped doing lake country tax bills so they referred me to Wauconda Community Bank in my home town. When I got there the person behind the counter tells me even with the cash in hand she couldn't send in for my tax bill unless I gave them all my information including a Social security number and or open a account with them. Total B.S!!. I drove across the street to Fifth Third bank in Wauconda where i was greeted without a attitude from the teller and they had NO PROBLEM taking my cash without any more information and payed my Lake county tax installment. I have NO account there either by the way! W.C.B you stink!."

"I love this bank! I love the small town feel and personal service. I love the junior savings program for kids. And, free cookies and coffee is always a nice touch. But honestly, my favorite thing is that that every Christmas (and Easter) they have Santa and Easter bunny for the kids. This has been meaningful because every year since my kids were little I have taken them to the Santa event (and some Easter) and have the (FREE) picture ornaments that they give. When my kid are all grown up (it is happening soon) they will have all their ornaments from many years from here. So even though this is a bank, what I love the most is the "little" things they do that are actually "big" things in my eyes!"
