"I enjoyed at first meeting him and sharing my problems with him. And I appreciated the help he gave me. But I also noticed that he can be very angry for small reasons and argue and humiliate his patients. I remember I had to be out of town and I sent him a message for my prescription to be refilled ASAP as an emergency. He yelled at me in the phone very loudly, and I made sure it was the last time I ever met him again. In short, it is not professional for a medical doctor to have bad temperaments with their patients. After all it is his practice and reputation that will tarnished."

"My mother forced me to go here as a child for my depression as well as several undiagnosed mental Illnesses she claimed I had. She has some serious issues of her own and our relationship was very toxic. As an adult I realize how messed up it was that I was never allowed to speak for myself at this doctor at all! If I did I was shut down and was told to listen to my mother. He would take my mother in by herself first and speak to her about me so his opinion was very bias! When I would be allowed to come in she would still be there listening. They would both shut down everything I said and would treat me like a delinquent, write me prescriptions I didn’t need and send me on my way. Very damaging. I’ve talked to professionals and they say this is conflict of interest. There is no way he would have known if I was being abused at home or even needed the medications that were being prescribed. On another note what the others said was true about letting prescriptions go unfilled. My mother has gone off her medication several times because of this and unfortunately had major issues."

"My son has seen Dr Mumtaz for over a year and every appointment he asks questions but refuses to actually allow him to respond. He IMMEDIATELY shuts him up and off we are sent with scripts!"

"If I could give him a 0 I would. I am currently reporting him to the Illinois medical Board. He continues to allow my son to run out of medicine and instead of writing a bridge script until his appointment, he would rather my son come off of his medication! We are not "allowed" to schedule an appointment until the week his medicine is due and with any normal schedule, I usually can't get in the ONE day he's there that specific week so we end up scheduling a week out which causes his medication to run out; I cannot wait until 2 days prior to set an appointment...you called me MONDAY with only availability on WEDNESDAY! I have a job and 2 other children...that is not sufficient notice for an appointment!..it's unsafe and unethical for children to go on and off of medication especially behavior medication they need!....shame on you for allowing this! I WILL be an advocate for my children!"
