"This place is amazing. When my daughter was fitted with skates, she learned so much from Mr. John about her feet, how to prevent injury, etc. Also, she was told her spins would improve and she would land her axel within months of getting new skates. I am here to let you know they were right. Now she is working on doubles!"
"Wow, wow, wow! An amazing shop with amazing staff and service. John is truly a wizard at what he does. I am a newbie skater and did not know what to look for. The shop was able to help me find a skate that worked for my foot shape and skill level, and did not try to oversell me on anything. The boot fitting and blade adjustments were very professional and informative. John even took the time to help me learn how to tie my skates and no one made me feel bad for asking questions. If you are in the area, please go here! I cannot recommend it enough."
"Tiny place but these guys (john and Mark) know their stuff! The hours are limited, you should definitely make an appointment, but they will fit you expertly. They even take into consideration where you skate (each rink apparently has different degrees of hardness of ice, who knew! ). They also sharpen blades on figure skates, which is hard to find! We only buy our shares here... you should too!"
"Our figure skating coach recommended Geppetto"s. We ordered my daughter's new figure skating blades over the phone and made an appointment to have them put onto her current skating boot. Mr John took the time to shape the boot to the new blade and adjust the blade several times after my daughter wore them on the ground and on the ice. Excellent service, totally professional and very nice. I really appreciate the time that was taken to give my daughter the best fit and answer my questions. It was a 6 hour round trip from MI. We would not hesitate to do it again."
"I drive 20+ miles because I don't want anyone else to touch my blades. The prices are reasonable and the knowledge/service is fabulous. It's not a very fancy or nice shop but if you need blades, boots, or the basics of skating, they've got it and will make sure you get what fits you best."
