"My friend and I came Saturday to use the outdoor crossbow range, awesome experience! Sonny was so helpful, knowledgeable and patient with us both. He gave excellent instructions on the rules and safety of shooting, and he even unjammed my bow for me when I thought I broke it. Great price, great outdoor space and great owner! Very happy to have found a place to use my crossbow and the drive from downtown wasn’t bad at all."
"Meh, could have had a better time just not coming and waiting till the following day for other shops to open. Wanted to get my bow evaluated for any safety concerns by a professional as I have had it for almost 10 years and I’m not the best when it comes to regular maintenance. Well the “professional” at the store right from the get go you could tell he got off the wrong side of the bed that morning (maybe it’s everyday for him seeing the other reviews here). I was polite and friendly with him the entire time saying please, thank you, yes sir, no sir but the entire time he was behaving like he was doing me a begrudging favor even though I am paying him for the services he is advertising but ok maybe he’s just having a bad day I think to myself. No, I was wrong ha after explaining to him multiple times what I wanted he raises his voice and annoyingly says things like “sO wHaT dO yOu NeEd?!!” or “sO wHaT aRe YoU AsKiNg?!!” as if simply stating something to the tune of I need my bow evaluated for any safety concerns and a tune up if one is needed. Additionally I wanted to get the pull weight bumped up which I’m not sure if he ever did because he didn’t mention anything about it to me. I let it roll like water off a ducks back because I’m thinking maybe he has a hard time hearing and combined with his bad day he’s just not having a good time. Well finally he looks it over and replaces the peep sight, which I am very thankful for kind man! Then I wanted to buy a thumb release because I’ve been wanting to switch over for some time so he turns around and grabs one that is just hanging by itself out of the box on the back wall. I’m thinking maybe he’s being nice and letting me try one before I buy one, nope. He was selling me the release out of the box. You don’t try to sell someone something out of the box for full retail price without even mentioning you are selling them the one out of the box! No one wants to pay $120 for something out of the box when you are charging the same for one in the box! Lol Doesn’t matter if someone hasn’t used it or it was just pulled out for someone to check out, mention it at least and ask the customer if they would buy that. I immediately told him no I want the one that’s still in the box and he begrudgingly again grabbed the one in the box…and then started opening it up himself and tossing the package and handing me the release! Like dude what if I wanted to register it for the manufacturers warranty?! Do you do that with everything in your store with every customer? I was just over the whole thing by then and wanted to gather my stuff and leave. I wasn’t even mad or angry at the whole thing, just disappointed that some poor naive newbie is going to come in here and get treated in this manner which might just put them off from archery as a whole. Even till the end I was polite, friendly and said my please and thank you but his demeanor did not change at all. Well def won’t be going back there due to the awful and cringey/passive aggressive customer service. Thank you for begrudgingly servicing my bow and selling me the release, even though I paid the $25 for servicing the peep and $120 for the release. Also instead of saying “you owe me x amount of money” when someone buys something from you try maybe “it will be x amount of dollars for x y and z! How will you be paying?” Maybe because he had all these archery certifications and pictures of hunts yada yada he feels he has the right to act like a gatekeeper of some sort? Not sure but the environment and staff definitely needs to lighten up and be more welcoming to their customers that drove from wherever to come to their store specifically. I get the feeling their response would be “well we didn’t tell you to drive here” LOL it’s not that serious and in three generations you and everybody you know and all you did will be forgotten about completely non-existent. Takes less energy to be polite and kind than whatever demeanor was displayed that day. Udemy has free customer service and hospitality courses your store could benefit from."
"I rarely review businesses but this place deserves my time and effort. At Glisson's I found my new passion. My first and next visits were professional but warm. Sonny walked me through every step of the safety and learning process. He pays attention to details and he is always willing to help. The shop itself is well-stocked, with a great selection of products and the right recommendations. This is the place to learn, shop, practice and feel great."

I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. My new bow shoots great, and I love the way it was prepared and customized. I'm excited to come back. Thank You!!!"
"Went here to try out some archery with my brothers. We basically had zero experience and just wanted to try something different. We had a great time, and were the only ones there (early Sunday afternoon), so we got excellent instruction from the guy working there. He was very friendly and did an awesome job helping us out."
