Reviews
"Felt like I needed to leave a review because of all the horrible ones. This place has been a life saver for me, the staff is friendly and kind and has never made me feel taken advantage of or anxious. I have seen a doctor here and two therapists and I can say hands down everyone i have met with has treated me as a person, validated me, and has shown genuine care over all."
"First I called 3 times on three different days to get an appointment. They were very rude, told me the office is busy, short staffed would have new patient admin call me back. Finally got an appointment booked with Ghassan Bitar. Looked up his ratings and after reading them was disgusted anyone employs this person if half of it is true. Called to change the appointment to a different provider. VM says their office is open at 9 a.m. and they are currently closed. It IS after 9 a.m. on a weekday. I cannot conclude anyone at this business is competent. I would not trust them and will not use them. I am cancelling and moving on."
"I feel like I had to post a review because they’re not many good ones. I’ve been a patient here off and on for over 10 years- the front desk is polite and kind, their cancellation policy is clearly stated, you get a single reminder for your appointments (this is a small practice you shouldn’t expect them to hound you with reminders and it’s also patient responsibility). I saw a new psych Dr (to this practice) this last visit and while he may not be for everyone, he was a great fit for me. Finding psych care is challenging and frustrating because it takes time to find someone you mesh with. I’m sorry for everyone who has had a negative experience.. reading these made me nervous to go here again, but I’m glad I did. I never left for negative reasons, it was always due to life relocation. Understanding that med management vs talk therapy is different and might help when scheduling with providers. I’m overall happy with the care I received here vs other local places. I was able to get in within a reasonable time frame and the hours work very well."
"My husband suffers from MDD / PDD and this was one of the only mental health establishments covered by insurance. His first Dr. relocated shortly after he began treatment, so he was transferred to one of the other Drs there. From the get-go, this Dr. was cold, interrupted him whenever he would talk, and didn't seem to care at all. They never consistently sent reminders for the appt, and tried to charge $100 for one missed appt (that we had called and cancelled a few hours prior because my husband couldn't get out of bed.) We had cancelled appts before for the same reason with no issue. I called in to refute this charge, as we did not have $100 extra to shell out for help my husband didn't receive, and a few days later we received a letter in the mail saying the Dr was dropping him as a patient and that they would transfer his records over to a new Dr for a fee. Absolutely not. We were already planning on switching healthcare providers anyways for obvious reasons. If you get one thing from this review, PLEASE do not go to this establishment for assistance, especially for depression. I wish I would have read the other negative reviews and saved us the months of stress. When you are struggling with mental health, you need empathetic, genuine care. Not cold, robotic, uncaring people who are only in it to squeeze all of the money out of you they can before dropping you."
"Doctor seemed nice, office staff is horrible. Had an appointment, faxed our paperwork, pediatrician faxed over applicable paperwork.. was somehow never received from either of us. Scheduled follow up. Somehow that just fell off the calendar despite me having an appt card. Told receptionist I’m a bit frustrated with them because I’ve had one appt and only having issues with their office and she claims it’s because they’re short staffed. Apparently that affects their ability to sit at the window, discuss appt times, give our cards and then actively schedule the appt discussed. Also, my appt card has someone else’s name on it, but that’s not the name that’s on the calendar either. Office is just very unorganized."
