Meramec Elementary School

"This school was great with kids there was one person there that's off but after getting to know staff the crazy aid there went out the door. strong is a beautiful man that's great with kids all the guys are great with the kids And Ms Jackson and Williams there all great and understanding this is a very good family school..my kids did not want to leave it."

"I personally don't have children who attend this elementary school. I have visited several times. An acquaintance's daughter attends here. She is currently in the second grade. My last visit was this past Halloween. Her teacher called and said she needed a costume. I came as a witch. I took her into the bathroom. The bathroom was unclean and smelled very poorly. As I changed her into her costume, she appeared gloomy. I asked, "What's wrong with you?" She replied, "My teacher said we're not having a party because we have been bad." Her reply made me question the staff's communication skills with students. I personally didn't find her teacher's comment appropriate for students. I do have concerns about the teacher's ability to provide students with the skills they require to become successful. She's in the second grade and doesn't know how to read. She doesn't even get excited about reading or learning. Why? Her grades were very poor. Each subject had a failing grade on her last report card. It was odd. I have met the principle and he's a middle aged black guy. He seems hopeful but I feel as though the school is not an adequate learning environment."

"This is a great and I don't even go to this school but i know because my little brother go to this school and he is learning a-lot, so if he's learning a-lot and knows more than what I think he knows then it must be a good, nice educational and most definitely professional learning environment."

"My son went to this school in preschool and one day of kindergarten then it was horrible teaching and I pulled him out and put him in a charter ..... SOME PARENTS DONT CARE AND THE TEACHERS DONT EITHER ... IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CHILD'S EDUCATION GO MAGNET OR CHARTER"

"Horrible school the teachers are abusive I saw it with my own eyes and they tried to cover it up poor children my son tell me everyday about he preschool teacher cursing and him and hittin him I can't wait till the year is over with so he can attend magnet school but I will not be letting this go stay tuned I will be further investigationing my son allegations if I gotta attach a nanny camera to my son IM GONE FIND OUT"
