"The only reason I gave one star is for my child teacher..she needs 5 stars, but this star is ONLY FOR THE BUS TRANSPORTATION and how I feel about the school itself on handling issues..Having a bus schedule is a joke. My child route has several different school buses that come through our neighborhood. My child was on a bus for another school before the bus realized she was picking up wrong kids. OMG SCARY!! Called the Principal whom rode in the bus and noticed this craziness. She implemented a system where the bus drivers suppose to have a sign of the school taped somewhere where we can see it to make sure our kids are getting on correct bus...it work for the permanent bus drivers, I have never seen a school that can't keep permanent bus drivers. We had one the first part of the year..a respectable black man driving our kids safely to and from school. It took one white parent to say she thinks he raise his voice at her kids(her kid isn't the best kid getting to the bus, plus she acts up on bus, all the kids told us) he gets removed. But these other bus drivers can not pick up our kids and they still have a job. I'm calling the superintendent today. Today we are waiting and waiting on the bus. 750am, I finally said I have to drive her...I called bus transportation and guess what they say.. THE BUS HAD TO DO THE HIGH SCHOOL A FAVOR BY PICKING UP A HIGH SCHOOL KID AND TAKING THEM BACK TO SCHOOL..what? So these kindergartners/elementary kids have to stand in cold, because the bus wanted to do the high school a favor...okay Superintendent will be called..next the governor of I have to...if I didn't take my kids to school I would be in trouble right? How is it that the buses dnt let us knw bus gone be late. After I called and drop my child off that's when they sent the email saying... Bus will be ten mins late..that's a lie..its 34mons late. Bus suppose to be here at 736am..its 8am people..."

"My daughter has attended here since preschool and it is a great school with excelent above par staff. As is life kids will have challenges and their will be issues that arise. The difference is the supports in place and the way this challenges and issues are handled. We have dealt with racist parents - A+ response and support from staff We have dealt with sexual harassment from a fellow student - A+ Response and support from staff We have dealt with personal life challenges like the death of family members - A÷ response and support I could go on and on. We only have one more year left and I'm hopeful that we have an even better experience at the next school. If not we would be blessed to have the same experience"
