"The driver was completely incompetent and rude. He didn’t ask for my destination so I assumed he knew where he was driving me, especially since another taxi service I took that same morning already knew what my destination was. It wasn’t until he was aimlessly driving for 15 minutes that he informed me he didn’t know my destination. He then threatened to drop me off at a random gas station. I called the taxi company and told John the situation. John was extremely rude and proceeded to give me an attitude and completely blame the entire problem on me, instead of calmly discussing the way that the company does its service. When I proceeded to tell him that I didn’t like his tone, he then hung up on me. The cab driver threatened to call the police on me for not giving him money for dropping me off a random gas station. When I asked him to take me to my destination, he told me to show him the money first and demanded that I pay upfront, which is NOT how taxi services work. And, this cab company charged me TWICE as much as an Uber would’ve cost (only reason I didn’t use Uber is I had to pay cash and Uber does card only). Overall, awful experience — I will never be using this cab company again and I will definitely NOT recommend. If I could NOT give any stars, I would, this company doesn’t even deserve a 1 star rating."

"I have been a regular customer with Alliance Taxi Service for the last several months and up until yesterday afternoon I had good reliable service. However, yesterday around 5:05PM I called for a cab to pick me up at Good Samaritan Hospital at the ground floor main entrance (also known as Towers 1 & 2). I made the request with "Shannon" and was told it would be about 10-15 minutes. Since the hospital is a fairly large complex I double checked with Shannon and made a specific point regarding where I would be waiting. Within about 5 minutes an Alliance cab pulled up and I thought "Great"! an early arrival however I was told by the driver that they were there to pick up someone else that was going to Lombard. Since it had only been a few minutes I continued to wait thinking nothing was wrong or unusual. After about 20 minutes I checked my phone and there was a call that had gone directly to my voicemail from Shannon stating that the driver was at my location and had been waiting there almost 15 minutes. I immediately called Shannon back and told her that I had been standing exactly where I said I would be the entire time and no cab had arrived except the one reserved for another customer who had by that time left with the cab that was reserved for her. Shannon's tone immediately became rude and abrupt stating " We had a cab there he couldn't wait any longer and there's nothing I can do for you". I asked about having another cab sent over and was told once again that there was nothing she could do. At this point I was rather frustrated since I had been standing in the exact spot I had given Shannon and not moved the entire time. Also the fact that Shannon was being very dismissive of a good regular customer was rather upsetting. Shannon kept trying to get me off the phone and I finally stated to her that I was a good regular customer of Alliance Taxi but that would be ending if we couldn't find a solution to this issue. Shannon's final words to me were "Look, I told you I can't help you okay?" and she then hung up on me. There are several taxi services available in my area (Flat Rate Cab is always nice and frankly, less expensive) and whoever owns Alliance Taxi should hopefully know that. Rest assured that I will NEVER use Alliance again and I hope that their management takes a few minutes to speak with Shannon and educate her on customer service and manners."

"Driver was amazing! Picked me up early and got me where I needed early! Extremely friendly and very knowledgable! Company is owned and operated by veterans! Clean can too, would definitely recommend!"
