Dr. Lawton Moy, MD 27240 Saxony Drive, Channahon, IL 60410

"Do not, I repeat, do not use Dr. Moy as your primary practitioner. I've had him as mine for a few years now, and I've been able to tolerate him, that is up until yesterday. Never have I ever been treated in such a way from someone who is supposed to be a professional. My daughter and I both went in for appointments. Seeing as my daughter is younger, she is typically seen by a pediatric doctor; however, none were available so she saw Dr. Moy with me. He made it very obvious that it was an inconvenience to see her, seeing as he is not her primary doctor. He even commented on this several times during our visit, to the point where it quickly became borderline uncomfortable. He was sarcastic in his responses to her, and literally made her (and I both) feel like little children being chastised for taking up his "precious" time. I simply asked him to sign a form for her for school, only because I was there and assumed it was normal to make such a request. Again, chastised because he is not her primary doctor and therefore, did not want to sign a form that would allow her to bring ibuprofen to school for headaches, cramps, etc. I didn't know whether to run out of there, or scream in his face for the way he made my child feel. This isn't the first time that this has happened, but it will certainly be the last. I will say though, that I absolutely love everything about this facility. The office staff, the other doctors, nurses, etc. but I will never, ever put myself in a situation where I turn to Moy for help when I need it, and I recommend that if you are looking to switch to this facility, please do! But do not learn the hard way, like I did. Do not put your money in that man's hands. Request ANYONE else, and you will be satisfied."
