"Trusted Tiffany to file my taxes her up front fee for amendment return was $450 which I paid filed in with her in 2021 she prepared my taxes created the file .. The entire year of 2022 I waited patiently even sent her text messages requiring about the wait . She ignored me for awhile but eventually I received a response from her saying it normally takes 12 months that IRS was backed up & moving slow me still being patient after awhile Tiffany stop responding altogether. Eventually I contacted another tax preparer who took out the time to contact the IRS they confirmed a tax return was never filed which I sent her proof show it wasn’t no reply. Fast forward Tiffany contacted me last month after I spoke with her colleague about I never received a tax refund & nothing was never filed & the $450 I paid she be refunded back to me. Well when Tiffany called me she stated that IRS was working from home do you covid & a lot of ppl haven’t received their refund I said although they were my tax refund was never processed & I should receive the $450 back since it was never filled told me she would no refund my money back .. I find it very odd that another tax preparer file my tax return submitted it & got me my refund back without any issues .. That was extremely a lesson learned for me . I could take it to court I have all my receipts I’m choosing to let God handle it . Wish I didn’t have to put a start at all"
