"Terrible front office staff. Very rude. So disappointed I wasted my time."
"Dr. Laurie Philipps and her staff were great to work with! Dr. Philipps is very knowledgeable and is focused on the care of the patients within her practice. The staff was friendly and helpful with questions I had."
"Do not, under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, bring yourself or your children to this place. I am an Ivy League graduate and current student at Northwestern Law school; I am in the process of filing an complaint against Dr. Phillips and possibly investigating a medical malpractice suit. I write this review to dissuade ANYONE from going to her before she is investigated and possibly dis-licensed; no child should have to suffer through what I did with her. She is virulently racist and extremely money-hungry; i don't know if her practice is failing (she has horrible reviews across most review sites) but she tried milking me for all the money she could, and when I questioned this, she yelled at me in front of the office, staff, and waiting room, suggesting that I was dishonoring her clinic and staff. When I later did my tests with her, she diagnosed me with a make-shift "other psychosis" because, according to her, my Asian upbringing made me incapable of understanding American freedom. She also said I'd never get into law school. (I was waitlisted for Harvard and Columbia, and am now at Northwestern.) I was later rediagnosed by a competent psychologist with only with depression, anxiety, and trauma. I am on a minimal SSRI medication right now and I am healthy and excelling in my law school classes. If I stayed with Laurie, GOD knows what she would have done to me. GOD protected me from her clutches and I've finally mustered up the strength to go more public and try protecting other children from her abuse. In my personal opinion, she is not a good person, she is very evil and profit-oriented, and lacks basic manners and care when it comes to children. She sees children, especially children of color, as sources of money - it is evil to take such advantage of already-vulnerable children and their parents. DO NOT GO TO HER. Please trust me. Find someone else, I promise you you can. But you may never undo the damage she might inflict upon you. If you continue with her, don't say I didn't warn you."
"Over the last 15 years I have had the good fortune to know many true professionals including teachers, principals, counselors, professors, and psychologists. Of all the individuals, Dr. Philips by far is the one individual that I have the highest of regards for and simply cannot recommend her highly enough. There are simply no words to describe the work that she performs, day in and day out. Is it because of the family that drives down from Northern Wisconsin for her to work with their child? Maybe it was the serious concern and reservations that were faced going into a school meeting that was at a stalemate with a clients family, looking like due process and legal proceedings were inevitable, just to be presented such a strong case that the family end up getting everything that they had requested? Thus avoiding the expensive and lengthy cost of due process. There are so many examples of cases like this that I would need an entire book to describe them all. If you or your child needs a NeuroPsychologist, a Counselor, or Advocate you have found the best and should simply look no further. She is absolutely brilliant and the kind of representative any parent would expect for their own child or themself."
