"Something tells me from the very 1st conversation and lack of follow up that something is off. I was asking very basic questions and the tone seemed real "smart a$$" I had to pause a few days and consider if I wanted to pursue or not. Looking at these reviews, my feelings were spot on. "my husband has PTSD and is disabled, and after years of not being able to find help for his lifetime issues finally found a therapist, being Ms. Woodson. Not only has she ADMITTED to never taking a counseling class, I have personally heard her harass him to "just smile" and raising her voice with him during every session, despite claiming to specialize in PTSD. Even after he politely discussed with her that he is not comfortable with her constantly demanding him to "just smile", and instead of respecting his boundaries he set, she continued to double down and raise her voice demanding him to smile. she has also said "I don't need counseling classes because I dont need classes I get people to open up to me with my humor", her humor being jokes that don't land. I have also overheard her make fun of one of his disabilities, mocking him in a weird voice and imitating him, and then laugh immediately afterwards. How this person is considered a therapist is beyond me. she didn't even know what CPTSD is. My husband finally fired her after the last session she joined, she had a poor connection and explained to her that she has low bars and poor connection. she INSISTED that it was because of him, speaking over him continuously and raising her voice saying "I have a great system, I have a great system, it's on your end." I wish I was exaggerating. Don't waste your time seeing her. Her behavior is absolutely appalling. She is always late by at least 10-15 minutes and never responds to messages. When he asked for help in writing a letter to disability, she reiterated that he would have to pay her for that. I'm not sure if that's a thing or even legal but it really rubbed us the wrong way."

"Such a wonderful woman and changed my life for the better. Very kind and understanding, and really easy to talk to. Unafraid to get to the roots of things and was the first person to not just take ample time to figure out a diagnosis, but gave me a correct one and treated my misdiagnoses. I plan to continue seeing her for as long as I need to, she's great. Highly reccommend Joselyn Woodson."
