"Nice little place to sit in the sun in the middle of a busy Logan Square."
"very beautiful monument with a great view when sitting on the steps, very lively with lots of pretty people around. a great place to sit and ponder or smoke a cigarette with your bud."
"Yesterday The Illinois Centennial Monument referred to as "The Eagle" by all of the local residents hosted it's annual Writer's Bench: Battle For The Eagle. It was a time to celebrate the various elements of hip hip. The city's top talents came to showcase their love and abilities with hopes to walk away with a coveted Eagle Trophy. As always, it was family and pet friendly. On any other day The Eagle is a place where many go to enjoy a peaceful day, read, draw, or enjoy their coffee."
"Didn't realize this was the Centennial Monument. We just call it the Logan Monument. Really cool area, lots of people like to picnic or hang out in this small park. Really just an island is the middle of an intersection. Good people and dog watching. You might find some vendors here from time to time. Surrounded by good food and shops. Get a pastry and eat it in the park."
"great place for a big orange cat to hang out at"
