"DO NOT SIGN YOUR CHILD UP FOR SWIM CLASS HERE. My four year old daughter almost drowned due to a negligent life guard who was standing RIGHT THERE; we had to call the lifeguard’s attention TWICE while my daughter was flailing under the water before the lifeguard jumped in to save her. To make things worse, this was the SECOND TIME IN ONE MONTH THAT A (DIFFERENT) CHILD ALMOST DROWNED IN THIS SAME SWIM CLASS. Also, the instructors for the class are extremely unprepared and disorganized. There is no advancement of skills and not much correction or instruction at all. Just the same things every week. I talked to the supervisor over the phone and nothing was really resolved; just stated there would be “additional training for instructors and lifeguards”. Give me a break. Two children almost died in this class and that’s all there was to say. Again, do not sign your child up for swim class here."

"Great place for your workout with a pool, sauna, indoor track and most every machine available also free weights and even battle rope. I have never experienced a wait for anything, helpful employees and the best part is the pricing. Separate prices for the workout area and if you only want the indoor track a phenomenal yearly fee. Just 1/2 mile north of planet fitness for which there is no comparison. I have used over ten fitness/wellness locations and this is in the top three. Cons...bring your own towels."

"Nice and clean facility. Lots of activities to choose from. Only complaint is the Zumba classes are boring. The zumba music is not great and I found all the Zumba classes to be low intensity for my liking."

"I am very impressed with the staff and facilities at Mundelein Park & Recreation District. The front desk staff is always polite whether it be in-person or over the phone, and Patrick Teehan has been nothing but helpful and responsive for all of my requests. As for the facilities, they are always clean and well maintained. Overall, I have nothing but positive things to say about the Mundelein Park District, their staff, and their facilities. They are a great asset to the local community!"
