"Dr. Yang failed to treat a severe H-Pylori infection that was wrecking my health. I kept going back every 6 weeks or 2 months, wondering why I was losing weight unnecessarily and feeling awful. Repeated bloodwork showed problems, but even though she herself had dealt with this issue, she never once suggested it could be the source of my poor health. Many months later, I found a functional medicine MD while in another state out of desperation. I paid $1200 out of pocket since he didn’t take insurance. He suspected H Pylori and bloodwork confirmed it. The antibiotics Dr Yang prescribed gave me bad side effects, the likes of which is never experienced. I asked for alternative combo of antibiotics but she kept giving me the same intensely problematic ones under different names. It was so bad that I ended up almost stroking out in the ER. I am currently trying to get this terrible practice to repay the $9,000. for that. She would not listen and kept giving me a certain antibiotic that other doctors and nurses have confirmed has a terrible side effects profile. It is one they say that they personally never give unless there’s no other option. There were indeed options in my case. I have since found out that HPylori is the number one cause of stomach cancer, and yet Dr. Yang claimed it my treatment ‘was of no urgency’. "Terrible terrible clinic. I came in with an infection, they took my labs, and was told to follow up with a lab visit a week later. A week later, they couldn't find my lab. They said they would get a new order in, I waited, they apparently got an order and collected another sample. They lost my sample. I was given confusing messages - no more infection, but still infection, take new meds. I asked for my reports, no response. They still haven't uploaded my labs, they don't respond. I'm so mad. I liked Dr. Sandra Khin after the first visit, but not happy anymore."
