"Cute little building"
"If local history is your thing, or even if you are curious about Algonquin, people & their lives, deeds, cultures, along the Fox River Valley, then this might not be a bad place to start learning. Why not? The village Historical Commission meets here on the 2nd Wednesday each month. They also hold workshops in which you can learn local history & how to search, document, & archive history & more. Come on down & meet local historian & retired teacher Donald Purn."
"It's a very old building definitely needs some TLC back in the day it was the fire station and than the old Village Hall in the lower level and the Police Department was housed in the upper level. This could be a very nice place just have to spend some money to fix it up interior painting, carpet ect"
"Impressed at how well maintained it is been there several times & always clean. One problem which I will address directly with Village is the cutting off 1st floor access to elevator to get to 2nd floor."
"Old and beautiful"
