"I’ve called 2 days straight about issues w a medicine they prescribed me with a change to my blood pressure meds and it making my levels go really high and still no call back. I went back to my other medicine since it at least brings my levels down but still no call back is quite concerning. I’ve came here since it was prime care for the last 2 years and never had issues with follow ups from the providers and hadn’t been here in over a year due to recent pregnancy I’ve always seen my OB and the wellmed change happened - my annual physical was a 2 hour appointment on a Friday late afternoon when it wasn’t even busy there. I could hear the front office lady mention about them being understaffed that day and it shows. I’ll be finding another provider bc it’s very concerning when I’m 5 months postpartum and my blood pressure is sky high that no one cares to think that’s important to call back about. Update: I wanted to follow up after posting this review the nurse did call at 5pm to give instructions from the other provider but the front desk still set my virtual appointment with Dr Amber Martin which is whom I usually saw once prior and I preferred to speak with her - she’s so personable and kind and listened to ALL of my concerns and knowing my history as well she gave such good tips on what I need to do and the goal in mind for my health and I felt confident in that."

"Since the change from independent practice to WellMed the environment has completely changed. Approach to patient care has changed significant for the worse including loss of medical data with transition and staff/provider decreased interest is patient experience and quality. Sorely disappointing."
"Since being bought by WellMed the endless non availability of not being able to see a doctor ASAP is more like you can see him in three weeks! Rude, inconsiderate front office staff who don't want to help patients in need. This place has become a for profit center and less of a for the patient center. I would not recommend coming here. New policy is they wont let you see a doctor unless you pay 120 dollars up front without insurance. What makes you think I have that kind of money if I don't have health insurance? Bill me."
"This is the first time I have ever felt the need to leave a negative review but I find it necessary considering this is for peoples health. I have loved my experience with both Amber Martin & Janine Wallace but my most recent experience with the staff at this facility has been absolutely horrible. I got lab work done due to some medical concerns I had & when I got my results back there was concerning information- but I never received a phone call to discuss even though I called & asked several times. One of the first women to answer was actually very friendly and briefly read me the notes that my doctor had written me which included that I should be referred to a specialist.When I finally did get someone to call me who was supposed to explain these results to me and read the notes that my doctor had written- first thing she said was “I heard you called what questions do you have” & I asked her very simple questions in regards to my lab results & she said “well that’s a complicated questionjt just looks like you are out of wack & meds should fix it”. The question I asked was a very basic question that a medical professional should know. She did not explain what any of it meant just gave me a diagnosis and no explanation. She also did not mention to me that my doctor had wanted me to see a specialist. I guess she thought I didn’t need to know that information.They prescribed me a medication without telling me how to properly take it & if not taken under very specific circumstances the medication literally does not work. The only reason why I know this is because my mom also takes this medication so if it wasn’t for her telling me I would not have known & would be taking this medication incorrectly. I left a note for my doctor to give me a call after this interaction because I wanted to actually go through my results & never heard back. If you want to go to a place where they really care about your health- I suggest elsewhere. You would think they would have a little bit of compassion & understanding when someone has gotten a diagnosis & has questions or concerns but no. I had to find another doctor to read my results to me & explain at a different facility & now I finally have the answers I wanted but primecare was unable to do this. **UPDATE: they ordered an ultrasound for my medical concern & I never after 3 weeks got a call to explain this $1600 ultrasound & I never received my results from the facility. I actually had to call the radiology place that conducted the ultrasound & had to have them send it to my new doctor- & it did have concerning results- guess they didn’t think I needed to know that."
