"One of the historic buildings in the National Historic Site."
"Interesting stop as part of the Ste. Genevieve National Historic Site. Be sure to stop by the visitor center first to join a free guided tour with a ranger to really learn and understand the history of the town and it’s architecture."
"This is one of the newest additions to the park service. You pick up tickets at the welcome center but the tour is free. The tickets are merely to control the number of people on the tour. The ranger explains the history of the house/tavernas well as the history of how it came to be built."
"Really cool for me as a descendant to check this sight out. My dad moved to Arkansas in the 70s but before that all my family was from St. Gen. and Perry Counties."
"Astounding architecture and survival for plus 225 years!"
