"Lovely building which looks to be freshly painted. It's an iconic structure which has become a bit of a landmark for the park as a whole. It's nice for shelter in a sudden downpour, and I'm sure those fishing appreciate it, too. There is also a new dock nearby."
"I love Carondelet Park! It's got two beautiful lakes, gorgeous trees, a lovely trail all the way around not to mention the sidewalk paths on the streets. There's always people walking around so it's safe and very quiet and beautiful. Here's a nice playground for the kids as well. It has wonderful gazebos for people who want to rent them out for picnics and parties. It's a gem in the neighborhood of Carondelet on the edge of Southern Dutchtown!"
"Beautiful park. Lots of mini trails. Can’t get lost lol. And there’s plenty of room to fish and not get in the way of walkers or too close to other people. My kiddo loves it"
"We went to see a free concert in the park. The season opener was Bob Kuban. Free parking on the street and a free show what more could you want. I would advise to get there early are you going to have to walk more. Sundays at 6 p.m. You can bring your own food and drink or purchase it there. All you really need is a chair to sit on or a blanket."
