Reviews of Edward "Ted" and Pat Jones-Confluence Point State Park
"Burned the brush away. Limestone rock road to get 4+ miles off paved road. Nice place with a good bit of historical info to read."
"Cold day but beautiful blue river and sky. Nice new walking trail to the Confluence"
"Make sure you turn onto Riverlands way, from us-67 ( right at the Phillips gas station) and Not at the Red School Rd as the GPS tries to tell you to do, because you'll hit a closed road. Bathrooms ( primitive) were open and plenty of parking spaces. Short hike with paved and gravel surfaces. paved path is muddy and slick in spots, but it's worth it at the end."
"Really weird place. Long drive in because the road was closed. Part of the trail was underwater. It was nice and the rivers were pretty, but it was strange."
"Missouri meet Mississippi. This is a good side trip as the access road is right off the freeway. We saw quite a bit of wildlife just driving to the trail head. The hike to the point was easy and both rivers were running high when we visited. We were faced with 2 questions on our trek. 1. Which is named first the river or the state? 2. Why does a turtle cross the road?"
