"PA Emily B. Is the best family provider I have ever had! She is very knowledgeable and through and makes me feel comfortable when talking about my medical problems. She takes the time to listen to her patients concerns and allows them to ask questions. Glad I have her as my provider and I definitely recommended her!"
"I am beyond dissatisfied with the service and treatment I received at this facility today. We contacted the office this morning to get an appointment. For the past three weeks I’ve suffered from a lingering cough that has not responded to several over the counter medications and home remedies. It was decided that I could come into the office instead of a telehealth appointment. I arrived for my appointment. The receptionist got my copay and quickly handed me a mask. The waiting area is huge and it was empty, but I was instructed to sit in the tiny foyer of the clinic. I complied with the directive. I sat wearing my mask as directed as several patients leaving the facility looked at me and quickly scurried by. I understood their alarm. After I sat there about 15 minutes, my phone rang. I was shocked when I saw that it was a call from the office I was sitting in. It was a nurse telling me she was calling to “triage” me before calling me back into a room. When I questioned the process, she stated there were no rooms available. I had watched about five or six patients leave prior to the phone call and expressed my concerns about the treatment I was receiving. I get it. In this post COVID era, I understand the abundance of caution, BUT telehealth was an option. My symptoms were described in detail when the appointment was made. I was cleared to come into the office, but was treated like a leper when I arrived. I’ve been a patient of Texas Health for more than 15 years and I’m completely appalled by the treatment I’ve received today. I was treated like a condition and set of symptoms instead of a human being. I was physically ill and the treatment I received caused emotional harm. I waited to secure a Monday appointment instead of utilizing other minor emergency options over the weekend. The relationship I established and trust of Texas Health was the rationale I used for waiting. Unfortunately, the staff does not place the same value on my tenure as a patient. I asked to debrief my experience with the office manager and did speak with the front office manager. I was told the office manager I needed to speak to was not in and was told they would reach out Tuesday, November 21st to address my concerns. It’s the afternoon of November 22nd and no attempt has been made to contact me. I’m beyond disappointed and will never return to this location. The front office manager asked me, “how can we make this right?” I was very clear that I wanted to speak to someone with power to reflect and refine the protocols used to treat patients experiencing respiratory symptoms because I do not want another human to be made to feel the way I felt. I now realize it was a statement made in the moment. There has been no attempt to right this wrong, offer rationale or make amends. I told the manager I spoke to I planned to write a review about my experience. I gave them an opportunity to address my experience and they failed to do so. This speaks volumes and should definitely be considered by others seeking health care in the area. If I could give zero stars I would."
"I have never written a review before but my recent experience here compels me to share this. Unable to get an appointment, consult or remote visit with Dr Maxwell over an 7-8 week period I was seen by PA’s Samantha and Evan. I have a medical background as a veterinarian for 35 yrs but neither really seemed to care about treating my bronchitis/ bronchopneumonia aggressively nor was willing to truly listen to me the patient. Dr Maxwell, Samantha or Evan were not available to discuss my symptoms and treatment and were unwilling to return my calls. I was sick and miserable for 8 weeks and never felt like there was any acknowledgement of my condition nor willingness to get aggressive and resolve the issues. Absolutely the worst and most disappointing 8 week experience I’ve ever had with a medical staff. There are many options for quality care in the metroplex and I will be finding a new primary care physician ASAP. It is so disappointing to encounter medical professionals who are unwilling to actually listen to their patients and treat aggressively to relieve suffering."
"I have been going to Dr. Glaser for 23 years. He and the rest of the staff are superb. I seldom wait more than 5 or 10 minutes. I do not like going to a doctor's office, but the atmosphere here is so relaxed that it relaxes me. In addition, they are very good about fitting us in when we have a sudden illness or need."
"Been going here for years - mostly see Dr. Maxwell but sometimes Dr. Glaser (as well as a couple of the PAs on occasion). Both doctors take the time to listen to you and care about their patients. Wait times are reasonable. They are both very good at diagnosing the issue and getting you something that helps. The office is always clean and very nice. Even though they are part of Texas Health, it feels like a personal, family physician. Both docs are awesome!"
