"Couldn't get a procedure done for my daughter after the initial consultation because the office gave me a form to fill out with my insurance. Well, my insurance said that is not the way its done, they need to hear from the doctors office. Insurance company tried contacting the doctor directly with no result. We called back to the office, was rudely told thats the procedure they have, and they can't help. Seriously, I had no choice but to look for another doctor . This is ridiculous. I have been going here for annual exams for 18 years. Moving on after this experience."
"Dr.Anand said that I’d have to get induced because of my weight. I weighed 250 lbs at that time. I had 0 medical complications throughout my very much healthy pregnancy but yet a friend of mine that weighed 160 lbs had preeclampsia… I went into labor on my own. I arrived at the hospital at 10cm dilated ready to push. Please don’t let any doctors fool you. Also, a medical assistant asked me to get undressed for a doctor to check my cervix at 38 weeks pregnant. UNBELIEVABLE! That was way too early and I had no reason to get an exam at that time."
"If I could give a zero I would for the entire hospital. I went to the ER for severe abdominal pain and back pain which the ER doctor was amazing as was the nurse and everyone else involved. He gave me medication for pain and upon a follow up the resident (not doctor) was more concerned as to why the ER doctor prescribed me a pain medication, and to follow up with obgyn which I did in which case I had a different resident (not doctor) every time. Came down to endometriosis which I was very concerned as to why my pain wasn’t being addressed and procedures were scheduled months out. Told me they couldn’t prescribe any pain medications until I went to see them in person yet prescribed me a medication for a UTI (symptoms of which I don’t have nor do I have a UTI) and the other was for arthritis which I don’t see how that helps endometriosis. Also disclosing I had autism they just waived it off. Then once I got tired of them playing random medications throwing at me with severe side effects I decided to go to a different facility and it’s been over two weeks and have not sent my medical records to the other facility. It’s been a completely horrible experience. If you have state insurance do not go here unless it’s the ER. You will get stuck with residents. Especially chronic pain, they will not help. I ended up losing my job because of the pain every month that lasted two weeks every month and was crippling."
"I submitted my transfer of care paperwork when I was almost 25 weeks pregnant. The receptionist told me it would take 7 to 10 days for the doctor to review my transfer of care paperwork and either approve me or not. I called at the seven (business) day mark and the receptionist told me that it was not reviewed yet and a call back after the 10 day mark. I gave it a few more days because she said they would call me and schedule an appointment after 10 days and I never received a phone call. The next day that I was in the area was at the 14 (business) day mark and I still not had received a phone call. I went up to the office to inquire about my transfer and they printed my paperwork right then and had it reviewed while I was sitting in the office. Therefore they had not reviewed my transfer of care in the time that they had it almost 3 weeks prior and 14 business days. I called several times providing them an opportunity of a reminder to review the records. I was waiting in the office for about 30 minutes, After about 15, I over hear one of the nurses say, with my records in hand, “I will take this to the doctor to look it over”. I do not have any complications with my pregnancy and no serious medical issues. They have a complete record of all my OB/GYN visits at my prior practice. After only about 15 more minutes, she comes back and says, “We cannot accept you, the doctor wants you to stay with your current OB.”. So, they denied me saying that they did not have time to do an initial exam with me. I thought that was the reason I needed to send in my records? The nurse stated that they are pretty far booked because they are very busy. However, while I was waiting in the lobby, I heard women scheduling appointments that they had available in June. I’m not really sure why the doctor just couldn’t review my records in the time they had allotted and then continue my care as if I am a reoccurring patient and just except my transfer. I can almost guarantee that it is because I am a TRICARE insurance holder and they probably won’t make much money off of me . I tried to explain to the lady that I live far away and need to have an OB/GYN that delivers at the hospital so that I can be induced. The point of this review is to say, that they had all of my paperwork for 3 weeks and reviewed it all in a 10 minute span, and then denied me without even talking to me. Maybe if they knew or even cared to know my situation they would reconsider. However there seems to be zero cares GIven. If I had not went up to the office, I would not have gotten a phone call back and I Would not know if I had been excepted or not. I would not be able to transfer my care to another OBGYN who delivers at lake forest because I would be too far along. This might be a nice office, but that doesn’t mean the people who work here are."
"Dr. Rose made me feel very comfortable especially with this being my first child. She thoroughly explained details to everything and went into depth even more if I still had questions. My son was born in July and I can’t thank her enough for everything."
