"The service I received from Dr. Collins's office staff was completely ridiculous and unacceptable. I came to her office as a new patient and went to the pharmacy two days later to pick up my prescription. The pharmacy told me there was an issue with my prescription and I needed to contact the insurance company. To me - not a big issue. I called the insurance company and they told me they needed paperwork from the doctor's office before they'd cover the prescription. Again, I completely understand that that comes up sometimes. I called Dr. Collin's office, told them all the details of what the insurance company said, and was told that the office would send in the information and take care of everything. The staff member specifically told me I didn't have to do anything and that they would call me when the prescription was approved. They said it would take a week to a week and a half. A little over two weeks passed and I didn't hear anything, so I called just to check in on the progress. They had no information for me, but said they'd call me back. It took them another two days before they called me and I found out they hadn't done anything in the 2.5 weeks since I'd originally spoken with them! They hadn't even written down that they needed to contact my insurance company!"
